We offer a fabulous range of art classes and workshops delivered from our Herefordshire-based studios. Regardless of whether you are a beginner, or someone with more experience, they will be an ideal choice.
So our art classes are designed to build your confidence and skill levels within a specific area of study and the theme for the art classes will change for each 10-week session. Furthermore, during the art classes, you will be expertly guided through a carefully designed area of study. Therefore, you will be provided with all of the help and guidance that you will require to become more adept in the art form.
However, if you are unable to commit to a regular art class, then you can choose one of our art or photography workshops. In addition, we also run festive crafts workshops to celebrate the Christmas season. Regardless of your choice, the workshops are normally between 2-4 hours and are designed to offer a taster session in the chosen medium.

Backbury Art Classes
Weekly on Thursdays 2-4pm
Our art classes are offered from our idyllic Herefordshire studio. They offer fun and informative sessions which are led by a fully qualified art teacher.
In summary, you can attend our art classes throughout the year in 10-week blocks for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter sessions. Please also note that each class is two hours long.
For your enjoyment, we offer weekly challenges designed to develop your confidence and skill levels in a range of art techniques. You are also encouraged to develop your own ideas and style.
We restrict the art classes to 8 attendees so that you can receive appropriate support tailored just for you.
Furthermore, our weekly art classes offer the opportunity to mix with other like-minded creatives in a supportive environment.
Overview:
- 10-week art classes offered with expert tuition for just £135.
- Includes the use of specialist art materials.
- We also include refreshments.
Private Art Classes
If you have a friend/friends with interest in attending art classes in Hereford, we can offer you a private class.
Furthermore, you will receive expert guidance on themes of your choice making this truly a bespoke option.
To clarify, private art classes require 2-8 attendees for a minimum of 5 x 2 hour sessions.
The price per person, per 2 hour class is £25 when booked in a five-week block.
However, there is a 15% discount for:
- block bookings of 6 sessions or more.
- group bookings consisting of 4-8 attendees in the party.

Workshops
Art and Photography Workshops
Our workshops offer the opportunity to have a taster session in a range of creative artforms. What’s more, they are available in a rolling programme throughout the year.
In short, we offer beginner’s watercolour painting workshop and beginner’s photography workshops.
Workshops generally take place on a Saturday. However, we offer more choice of days and times during special events such as Herefordshire Art Week.
In summary, workshops are typically 2-4 hours in duration and prices start at £28 for a 2-hour workshop which includes tuition, materials and drinks.

Christmas Craft Workshops
To celebrate the festive season in crafty style, we offer two fun and creative workshops.
In summary, you can choose from either:
- Christmas Textiles Weekend Workshops. This workshop involves creating a decorative Christmas card using fabric and decorative embroidery techniques.
- Christmas Printmaking Weekend Workshops. This workshop will enable you to hand stamp Christmas designs to create your own gift wrap and Christmas card designs.
Both of the workshops run from 10-1pm on the designated weekend in the approach to Christmas.
In summary, we include full tuition, the use of all specialist materials and festive treats within the workshop price of just £45.
There is also a special gift on offer for the first few customers who book their places.

Bespoke Workshops
If you, your family or friends would like to attend a tailor-made creative workshop, we can arrange a programme just for you.
What’s more, our bespoke workshops make ideal corporate or private party events.
To explain, the workshops are offered for a maximum of 8 people and require a minimum of 2 people to run.
Our standard package for a tailor-made workshop is £45 pp for a 3 hour workshop including materials and refreshments.
We also offer a 15% discount for group bookings consisting of 4-8 attendees in the party.
