Water Patterns and reflections Course Overview:
- Learn how to create layered washes to create depth, light and shade.
- Develop brush control in order to add texture and pattern.
- Learn how to capture realistic reflections on water.
- Master how to create beautiful scenic paintings.
An example itinerary for the course:
| Day | Activity |
| Saturday | The morning session will commence at 10:30am for welcome refreshments. Following, you will be fully guided in watercolour technique to capture light and reflected patterns on water. Afterwards, you will have opportunity to develop your technique further by painting a sailboat on water. The session will conclude at 3:30pm. |
| Sunday | We will meet again at the studio for 10:30am. This session will focus on refining technique in order to create atmosphere, light and texture. Following initial experiments, you will have the opportunity to create a painting illustrating reflections in a landscape. |
